Responsibility of the Residents’ Association

The Residents’ Association (AOSERA) was formed to manage and protect the interests of the residents, including providing street lighting, maintenance of the estate’s roads, maintenance of the common verges and islands, and to uphold the estate’s covenants.

AOSERA is registered at Companies House as a company limited by guarantee which means we are a not-for-profit organisation, that is, there are no shareholders, we do not distribute any funds to the directors, but retain them within the company for the greater benefit of the estate.  Our board of directors currently consists of six volunteers all of whom are residents of the estate and each has one or more Association related responsibility to oversee.

As is required by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs AOSERA’s records are maintained by one of our directors and a return is submitted each year.
