Coronavirus & AGM
In the shadow of the present pandemic the Board has decided that it will be prudent to postpone the forthcoming AGM. As directors we have a duty to act in the best interests of the Association, and our members. By postponing the AGM we will be helping to reduce the risk of infection from the virus.
The board has scheduled an AGM for 14 December at a time to be confirmed. The meeting will be conducted ‘virtually’ via the free Zoom software. Details will be confirmed and login details provided nearer the date via letter or email. In the meantime, if you have an issue that you wish to raise with the board or our managing agents please contact Tracey at Arun Office Services in the usual manner and we will do our best to assist you.
The Angmering on Sea Estate is a collection of 335 homes built up since the early 1900s. The Residents’ Association (AOSERA) was formed to manage and protect the interests of the residents, including providing street lighting, maintenance of the estate’s roads, maintenance of the common verges, and to uphold the estate’s covenants.
The members of the AOSERA board are all volunteers and meet every two months to discuss and decide on matters concerning the management of the estate. We always welcome new members to join, so please contact our secretary, Tracey Down, if you are interested in doing so.
We are also interested to hear from you if you have any ideas on ways to improve the estate or any concerns you may have regarding our neighbourhood. Matters of interest are regularly circulated via our newsletter and will be incorporated into this web site. We also make ourselves available to the residents at an annual general meeting.
